BELM is a digital assistance platform to support end users in decision-making for the identification, analysis, implementation and monitoring of sustainability strategies in the lifecycle management of the built environment. BELM aspires to be a tool in the transition to a smarter, sustainable and resilient construction sector, creating awareness and co-responsibility in economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Funded under Horizon Europe. Builds on digital twin technology, IoT integration, lifecycle assessment and ESG reporting methodology.
Platform architecture – contributing to the design of the BELM digital infrastructure and scenario comparison engine.
Sustainability assessment modules – developing LCA and LCC calculation tools aligned with CSRD and ESG frameworks.
Data interoperability – ensuring compatibility with Digital Product Passport standards and ESPR regulation.
